I think in decimals and dollars.

Do you know what animal I find absolutely adorable?
Cuttlefish.
No, seriously. The Cutest Cephalopod Award goes to the cuttlefish. Plus, they're actually really cool. You should Google them.
This has been a pointless, marine-creature-related post.

I can watch the sunset on my own.

I don't know what it is, but every time Casey and I hang out together, we turn into babbling idiot versions of ourselves, laughing at every single little thing possible. It's the best. :)
We're going to the mall tomorrow. Er, today. I'm going to turn in an application to Torrid, and we'll hunt around for an attractive guy. Well, I will. She has a new boyfriend.
Really, there would be a good point to this if I was posting after the mall, but some nights, you just feel like writing. And posting pictures of yourself and your best friend.
April 2010, right before we left for the Renaissance faire. Good times, good times. :)

The words are in my mind.

One of these days, I'm going to count just how many books I own. I'd be willing to bet that it's over a hundred. Regardless, they don't all fit onto my bookshelf.
Of course, when I went to Borders today, I bought three more. I don't know where I'll put them. But I will find a way. I'm good at putting things away.
Honestly, that's all the news I have today.
My life is fraught with excitement!

I can't sit still.

Wow, it has been a long time.
Not really, though. It didn't call for a wow. Or italics.
Sadly enough, there isn't much to update. I turned eighteen on Halloween, and dressed as a sailor. I've been mildly obsessed with the sea lately. I voted on the second. I wore a lot of black, and did not dress according to the weather. I played mini golf. Actually, that one was today.
Really, I should be better about writing. What's the point of having a blog if I don't even write in it?

I love it when you sing to me.

This storm is something else entirely. Thunder shaking the house, almost violently. Lightning lighting the sky up like a strobe. It's insane.
I love storms. Except for when the house is shaking. I'm not exactly into that.
Oh, well. The storm's almost over. And I'm watching Glee. So life is good.

Talkin' back to the mirror.

I can't exactly say that I need a way to express my thoughts — I have way too many. I have at least five blogs. It's a lot, and some of them go for long, long, long stretches without any update. I dunno, I guess I like having so many different facets of myself. No blog will ever see the entirety of my mind, but if you piece them together, you start to get some semblance of a whole.
Anyway.
Um, a little background... I'm seventeen. I go to COC (College of the Canyons), but I'm hoping to transfer to a school in Maine in a couple years. Hopefully, I'll be able to move down there around January.
I grew up in the desert. Frankly, it's pretty...blah. The colours, the people, everything. My heart belongs to the ocean. It always will.
I'm fascinated by the world around me. I'm obsessed with knowing things. It borders on weird. I'm also very interested in the human mind, how it works and all that. Oh, and history — I love history. And English. And biology. And pointless facts. And art.
Music makes my life better. But books are my life. To me, they're home.
My existence would be nothing without words, starry skies, or travel.
I knit, and I don't mind the strange looks I get when I bring my knitting with me. Just be glad they're bamboo needles.
I'm nothing if not peculiar.
My mom thinks I'm technologically challenged. I'm beginning to think she's right. At the very least, all things with wires hate me.
Whose Line is it Anyway? is my life. So is Audrey Hepburn. And the colour turquoise. And cloudy skies.
That's all you need to know, really.

Okay.
