A better day is comin' my way.

I'm back, and I'm not sick anymore, and it's glorious. Glorious, I tell you!
I'm starting another blog for things like recipes and clothes and pictures of pretty things and whatnot. I'll continue posting here, but I'm just sharing the information because that's how I roll.
Anyway.
Nothing exciting is happening in my life. My purple is almost all gone (I think I'll re-dye on Friday, though. I dunno), and I planted a bunch of flowers and some basil. I'm currently hoping that they don't all die, cause I sort of have a black thumb. I hope I don't kill my new best friend!
My new best friend is a pot of African violets, by the way.
Yeah.
It's almost the end of March, but it's not nearly close enough to July to justify just how excited I am to go to Carpinteria this summer. And Mammoth. At least, I think it's Mammoth. But mostly Carpinteria. Unfortunately we won't be able to camp, but there's a Motel 6 there and it's a short, pleasant walk from the rest of the town and I really, really, really just want to be there right now. That is all there is to it.
Please, semester, just end already.
Especially you, sociology class. Especially you.
Thankfully spring break is next week, that will be the halfway mark. On the 10th, I will be closer to the end than the beginning. Now if the end of the semester would hurry up already...
Boring classes make for an impatient Sarah.

We should live until we die.

So, not much to report.
I've had a cold, so I just haven't felt like doing anything, like existing. All I've wanted to do is sleep. Luckily, I've actually done stuff, so there's more for me to write about than taking a bunch of naps.
On Friday, I got bangs and purple hair, went to a show, went to Denny's, and hid someone's dessert.
On Saturday, I went to Denny's, played pool, and lost. Horrifically.
All week, I had to convince myself to go to school. Yep, I'm at the point where few things sound better than skipping. I swear, I'm hoarding my off days so I can just use them all in May. I am a fabulous student.
Unfortunately, my hair isn't this purple anymore. I'm not sure if I'll just re-dye it myself after it fades completely, or if I'll get it dyed another colour, or what I'll do. I think this all depends on how expensive it is and how cheap I am. I feel like I'll be doing it myself. No big deal.
So that's it. Hopefully I'll be more interesting soon!

I've had some time alone, to hone my lying technique.

Last day of Fatshion February!
Yeah!
Maybe it didn't call for exclamation marks. Whatever. Clearly I didn't end it with a bang. I ended it by being warm, okay? It is February after all.
Torrid top, Ross coat, mom's skirt, Old Navy scarf, WalMart tights, messy bed.
Payless shoes.
I did like posting my outfits every day, even if some of them were spectacularly boring. And I mean watching-grass-grow boring. I mean let-rabid-squirrels-eat-me-alive-please boring.
I clearly live a fascinating life.

Sparks fly upward in ascent.

Today is my brother's thirty-first birthday. We got no In-N-Out and two chocolate cakes. It's all good, except for the fact that the cake is a little too good. Oh, well, it's his birthday and he wanted cake and he got a lot of it.
Also, this outfit would have looked better with tights instead of leggings, but it was cold and that clouded my judgement.
Forever 21 dress, sunglasses from Venice, WalMart leggings, Old Navy
camisole.
Payless shoes.

My ear upon the ground, listening for truth.

Today wasn't exciting. It never is. It snowed, and I felt like a hazard with a Bunsen burner.
Coat from Ross, tee-shirt from Lane Bryant, skirt made by my mom, tights
from WalMart, shoes from Vans, bracelet from Casey, black bangle from Claire's.

You've got me in a death roll.

Today was full of adventures, like grocery shopping, exchanging hair toner for nail polish, and not getting my hair dyed. Tuesday, though.
Thrifted shirt, mom's skirt, Payless shoes.

Sputter, stop, and fall into energy.

Lazy, lazy, lazy day. Believe me when I say that I just got dressed for the sake of a picture.
Sweater from Torrid, skirt from my mom, thrifted tee, WalMart headband,
DIY necklace.
Vintage bangles that I wore yesterday and forgot to document.
Payless shoes.

Gotta love the age of stupidity.

I went to the mall with Erika today. We spent a lot (a lot) of time in Sephora, got dinner at Red Robin, and went home. I got a few things (nail polish, mini things from Bath and Body Works), which is weird for me. I didn't spend much, though, so it's all good.
Even if I wore the exact same skirt/tights/boots yesterday. Thug life.
Shirt is thrifted, belt and skirt from Fashion Bug, headband (which you can
hardly see) is from Forever 21, bag is from Ross, tights are from WalMart,
boots are from Payless, sunglasses are from Tilly's.
DIY necklace.
Erika, who serenades me in the car. My hair, who hates me today.

All your hugs and kisses, and money too.

Not much to report today. Went to my classes. Went to Casey's house instead of the Boulevard. Took pictures of my niece and nephew. Listened to Buddy Holly.
Tomorrow, I fully plan on sleeping in till an unholy hour, like three in the afternoon.
Tee-shirt is from Torrid, skirt from Fashion Bug, WalMart tights, DIY collar.
Payless boots, niece's feet.

Talking back to the mirror.

Nothing to report today, except that I messed around with sulfur today. It's like formaldehyde to me—you can still smell it, long after the lab. Ugh.
Sweater from Fashion Bug, dress from Ross,  necklace from Forever 21.
Shoes from Payless. Also, they're ridiculously comfy.
