I went running to the road.

So on the 30th, Casey and I went to Castaic to watch a band perform. Locked & Loaded. They're some of the coolest guys ever, not to mention immensely talented. We took some pictures and got an interview, which I was woefully unprepared for. My future interviews will go much more smoothly.
Anyway, it was a nice day and the music was great and the drive was pretty.

On Halloween, I just stayed home and watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Casey had gotten sick, so we postponed all happy fun times for the next day, which we did.
Then, a lot of time spent at school, farmer's markets, and various modes of transport.
Last Monday, I ditched math and got back into town at around 1:30. Casey and I wandered around town, finally got our 99-cent pupusas, and went to a city planning meeting (or whatever it was) in support of the Industry Theatre. We're so excited for them to open! A real, fresh music venue for the AV! Plus, it's beautiful.  There's this phenomenal artwork everywhere. There are walls and benches covered in graffiti-style murals, there's a wall with these 3-D pieces composed of, like, chain-link fencing and pipe, and a smallish mural of these fragmented cities. I can't wait to get some pictures.
Since then, it's been school, commuting, and not doing homework.
Tomorrow, I have to go to this tea at my aunt's church, so that promises to be...interesting.
And, the biggest and best news of all: the semester ends next Thursday.
Finally.
I'm excited about the break, if only for the napping opportunities. I fully plan on catching up on as much sleep as is humanly possible!
